| Pre-Suzuki Motor Co. 1958 SJK Colleda 125. When the cotton market collapsed in 1951, the Suzuki Weaving Loom Manufacturing Co. (SJK) in Hamamatsu, Japan, saw opportunity in the domestic transportation market and started producing motorcycles. Production volume was low and very few still exist today. This 1958 SJK Colleda was built five years before Suzuki started exporting motorcycles to the West. These bikes are extremely rare and this is the only one I have ever seen—which is why I keep it. |
